By way of her close and almost obsessive figurative renderings, Amy’s work is not merely a realistic depiction of people and places, but a commentary on both the complexity and simplicity that characterize our existence.

Amy lives in Chicago, Illinois where she works at the Art Institute of Chicago. Pieces of her heart belong to New York City - a place of new experiences and inspiration - and to the beautiful country of Italy, where she learned to love life and was moved to capture her surroundings through the art of photography.
